What Should You Invest In
?
Bless your fellow Jews and you'll be blessed. What does that mean? When you see a man in the street who looks like a frum Jew, you don't have to go over to him. As you pass across the street, say, " Hashem should give that man success in parnassa! He should have nachas from his children! He should live long!"
It cost you money? It doesn't cost you a penny. And it's such a good investment that you are promised a bracha. It seems so wild, it seems so insane, to lose that opportunity, to bless your fellow Jew

Where Can You Find the Truth
?
The only source of emes (Truth) is our tradition, our Torah: the Written Torah and the Oral Torah. People who spend time looking into newspapers are swallowing sheker (falsehood) by the bucketful. Some fools spend time in front of the TV committing spiritual suicide, or pay money to go to the movies. It's all nothing; the stories never happened

Why Did Yisroel Merit Receiving the Torah
?
Today, many sacrifice positions and careers out of loyalty to G-d's laws. Men and woman brave penury and persecution. Kollel wives endure poverty to enable their husbands to study Torah.... That is a fiery ordeal. But it is done with love, for in their heart burns a fiery love of G-d and His Torah. Because they are a fiery nation, He gave them the Torah of fire

How Did Yisrael Learn about Hashem
?
By living in an environment where a multitude could not survive, they gained the Awareness that Hashem is the sole source of their sustenance. By clustering around the Mishkan, by the powerful influence of Moshe, by the clouds of glory and the daily Mann, Israel learned the awareness of Hashem in all aspects of Bitachon. And here they gained the attitude of total isolation from the nations and their ways. Thus the Wilderness was the grand preparation for Israel's future history

The most severe of the Ten Plagues and therefore it was the last. The Jew must bestir his ancient greatness and he must learn the glory of his Torah and his people.

How Can You Recognize Your Own Good Fortune

In order for a person to appreciate how fortunate he is, he should always look at the people who don't have what he has and not concern himself with those who have more. What's the Secret to Beating Anger
?
The world is under control and we are all puppets. Hashem is standing behind the scenes and pulling wires. Even when people do things to us, it's not our fault, it's Hashem doing it, because He's pulling the wire and making the "puppets" behave in such a way. When a person is more or less confident in the way Hashem is conducting the world, so there he will not so easily fall victim to kaas (anger)

When Will You Learn About the World
?
Just like a person who comes to learn medicine cannot do it in spare time -- He can't work all day long, and late at night spend a little time studying medicine; it won't amount to anything. It's a full day's work for years -- likewise, a person who is busy with everything but studying [his mission in life] is not going to understand anything about the world and about Torah and about the afterlife and about his relationship to his fellow man and his relationship to Hashem. He'll understand nothing at all, because it's something that requires a great deal of thought

What Does It Take to Appreciate Torah Sages
?
We have tzaddikim today, but people don't bother to study them. They're waiting until they're dead and they're pickled and they're put away somewhere in a sefer, then they're all in awe over what they once had. But to be excited about the tzaddikim of our own generation, for that you have chachmah (wisdom)

How Can You Prevent Strife at Home
?
The Mishna (Avos 1:17) declares: “All my life I grew up among the Sages, and I found nothing better for the body than Silence.” We note that this is recommended as the best for the body, although it is unquestionably extremely beneficial for the Soul

How much suffering and grief can be avoided by silence at the right moment! And how great will be the eternal reward for the one who refrained from retorting

What Is the Goal of Everything
?
We should not lose sight of the eventual goal of everything, and that is "Vayadata hayom v’hasheivosa el levavecha ki Hashem hu haElokim." You’ll say, Isn’t that superfluous: "You should know today that Hashem is G-d
"!?
Yet we see it’s a command because that should be our permanent function in this world. We must combat all the phenomena of materialism in order to return to the ancient attitude when everybody saw Hashem with their eyes
